The outreach ministry is responsible for the congregation’s collective activity involving community relations within schools, neighborhoods, and help centers throughout the city, state, and nationally.  This team is involved in television ministries, adopt-a-school programs, senior involvement programs, food pantry give aways, area PTAs, and community centers.     OUR EDUCATION MINISTRY LEADER: BRO. "The  Education   Department  at  Lawrence  and   Marder  exists  to  excute  the  great commission  given   by  Christ  Jesus   as  stated   in Matthew   Chapter  26.  That   commission   is   to  teach   the   Gospel   to  all  that   will   listen .   Teachers   in   the   department    will   take   a   practical,   relevant   approach   in   their   instructional   methods   to  not  only   generate   interest   in    biblical   study   but  to  promote   the   development   of   teachers,   ministers   and   evangelists   for   Christ!" "My Edification  attitude  is  one   of determination.   You  must  look  at  every  person  in light  of  a  soul  to win  or  keep  on   the  winning team   building  up in  love,  Edifying  the  Church of  Christ."       OUR YOUTH MINISTRY LEADER: BRO. JOSH DAVENPORT. Our youth department leaders are committed first to serving God according to his divine words.  “Our message is our mission.” Our youth department serves our youth from day one.  We encourage them to “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.”  Matthew 6:33 Our youth department helps our youth grow in wisdom and knowledge such as Bible classes and training for all youth. We provide activities for our youth such as softball, basketball, and a host of other physical activities to challenge their minds. We encourage our youth to attend The Youth for Christ meetings in and around our city every fourth Saturday. The Texas State Conference and The National Youth Conference are additional tools provided by our youth department to help our youth meet other youth from other parts of the state and across the nation.  Our youth leaders serve as counselors during this great event. In closing our youth department is the voice of our youth from day one.  It is ideal for teaching and building them into the roles of becoming leaders and faithful members of the body of Christ.  “We can capture our youth today to exercise their spiritual rights as a Christian.”  1Timothy 4:12-13   OUR MUSIC/CHORUS MINISTRY LEADER: BRO. ?????? ????????. We strive at Lawrence & Marder to minister to the soul of our members and our guests through Acappella renditions of Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs, making melody in our hearts to the Lord. Our program consists of several choral venues such as:  The Mixed Ensemble, TTBB Ensemble, A Male Quintet, and great Acappella congregational singing by the great master composers of Classical, Baroque, and Romantic periods to Spirituals and Gospel of modern contemporary styles.     OUR INFORMATION SERVICES MINISTRY LEADER: BRO. PAUL MITCHELL. The   Bible   teaches   and   commands   us   to   go   into   all   the   world   and   spread   the   Gospel   about   our   Lord   and   Savior   Jesus   Christ.   I   believe  that   in    today's   world,   that   can   also   be   accomplished   through   the   use   of   the   technology   of   Computers   and   the   Internet   to   communicate  information   about   Christ   and   his   Church. Therefore,   it   was   proposed   and  accepted   by   the   leaders   of   the   Lawrence   and   Marder    Church   of   Christ   that   the   Information   Services   Group   (ISG)   be   formed   under   the   leadership   to   maximize   the   use   of   Computer   and   the    Internet   technology   toward   providing   Information   to   facikitate   achieving   the   Mission   of  the   Church.   This   is   the   mission    of   the    ISG and   this  is   our   call."
